Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up staging areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently to job sites.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic hand and power tools, and assist with heavy machinery under supervision.
- Skilled Trade Assistance: Provide crucial support to carpenters, electricians, and masons to ensure project milestones are met.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing waste and adhering to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site foremen and team members regarding task requirements.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication: Basic English skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following all safety regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
