Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning, clearing, and securing the area.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks, including measuring, cutting, and holding materials.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring all equipment is used correctly.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and trash at the end of each shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work part-time hours as scheduled.
- Training: Completion of OSHA 10-hour construction safety training is a plus.
