Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, debris removal, and cleaning.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure projects meet quality and timeline requirements.
- Perform minor repairs and setup tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
