Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and general cleanup.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at the job site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as digging, shoveling, and debris removal.
- Communicate effectively with team members and foremen to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
