Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain organized workspaces and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and debris removal
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Complete daily time logs and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided free)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven surfaces
