Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Basic Installation: Help with mounting outlets, switches, fixtures, and running basic wiring under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and setting up temporary power as needed.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, providing updates on progress and maintaining a clean appearance.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measuring and ordering materials.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and a quick learner with a strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
