Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure code-compliant installations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Perform safety inspections and adhere to OSHA and California Electrical Code requirements
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and client specifications
- Document work progress, materials used, and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (Class C or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and building plans
- Strong knowledge of NEC and California Title 24 energy codes
- Ability to work independently and in diverse environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and basic hand/power tool proficiency
