Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to plan projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project status and requirements.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of new electrical installations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Apprenticeship license considered for senior roles).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial wiring.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on a part-time schedule.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Richmond and Charlotte, NC service areas.
