Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and replacements.
- Diagnose Issues: Accurately troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems to minimize downtime for clients.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners, explaining technical details in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain personal tools and company vehicles in excellent working condition.
- Project Assistance: Support lead electricians on larger projects and assist with material inventory management.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Florida Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of circuitry, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
