Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the project manager to estimate material and labor costs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Georgia (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively for part-time assignments.
- Physical stamina to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
