Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan projects accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and circuitry.
- Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment (multimeters, ammeters, etc.).
- Ability to work part-time hours with availability for occasional evenings or weekends.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
