Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to determine layout.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical information clearly.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License required (Illinois).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various conditions.
