Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Support experienced team members with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials, clearing debris, and ensuring work areas are safe and organized.
- Tool Management: Learn to identify, use, and maintain standard plumbing tools and equipment correctly.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions about service needs, and maintain a clean appearance.
- Material Handling: Transport heavy pipes, fixtures, and supplies to and from job sites as directed.
- Learning & Compliance: Actively participate in training sessions and strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Drain Cleaning: Assist with basic drain cleaning and snaking tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the workday.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn and a willingness to get hands-on in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic reading and verbal communication skills to follow instructions from supervisors.
- No Experience Necessary: We train all candidates. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
