As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work alongside our senior technicians to diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues. You will gain hands-on experience in pipefitting, fixture installation, and leak detection.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Lift and carry heavy tools and materials as required by job site conditions.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand plumbing schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and answer basic questions.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and soldering techniques.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required: We are willing to train the right candidate from the ground up.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings during peak seasons.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and work in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills are helpful for measuring and ordering supplies.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
