Responsibilities
- Design quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms
- Develop secure quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026-era cybersecurity
- Collaborate with physics teams to engineer scalable quantum processors
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum AI applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles
- Present breakthrough findings at premier tech conferences (NeurIPS, Q2B)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and low-level quantum assembly
- Track record of deploying quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing federal grants or DARPA funding for quantum projects
