Responsibilities
- Design hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Develop novel algorithms leveraging quantum advantage in machine learning workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $5M+ research grants from government and industry partners
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning
- Drive commercialization of quantum AI solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning systems
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum error correction techniques
- Published work in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, photonic)
- Proven track record of leading technical research teams
- Clearance for government-funded quantum projects
