Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning acceleration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum processors into neural networks
- Lead experimental validation on 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Author patents and peer-reviewed publications on quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum error mitigation techniques
