Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-AI algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, machine learning engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-corrected quantum neural networks with fault-tolerant architectures
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through innovative proposal development
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into commercial applications for healthcare and logistics
- Establish industry benchmarks for quantum-AI system performance and scalability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning applications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Proven track record scaling quantum algorithms to 100+ qubit systems
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants for advanced computing research
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and high-performance computing environments
