Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research teams in quantum machine learning and neural network optimization
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and computational biology
- Secure $5M+ in government and private funding for quantum-AI initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and speak at global tech conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships with quantum computing pioneers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics with 5+ years research leadership
- Published 15+ papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DARPA) or venture capital for deep-tech projects
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into scalable commercial solutions
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong ethical leadership background in responsible AI development
