Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum algorithms for next-generation processors
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum-AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Advise government policy on quantum security standards for 2026 digital infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum/AI journals (h-index > 30)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Demonstrated success in securing government research funding
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing environments (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in theoretical computer science and algorithm complexity
