Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum neural networks with >1000 qubit coherence
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals with 90% acceptance rate
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for quantum-AI fusion research
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and ML frameworks
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum simulation methods
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Expertise in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Track record of translating theoretical research into commercial applications
