Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum neural networks using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for real-world problem solving
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and machine learning engineers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Publish in Nature/Science journals and speak at major conferences
- Drive commercialization of quantum AI solutions in finance/biotech
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., PennyLane)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience securing government/industry research funding
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum information theory
