Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-accelerated machine learning frameworks
- Lead research on post-quantum cryptographic standards for 2026 deployment
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity classes (BQP, QMA)
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
