Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into hardware-optimized implementations
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage in cryptography, drug discovery, and materials science
- Partner with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on quantum adoption initiatives
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years experience designing quantum hardware or quantum software stacks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
- Track record of securing quantum computing patents
