Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography, materials science, and AI acceleration
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Translate quantum computing breakthroughs into commercial IP portfolios
- Establish industry partnerships for quantum cloud service development
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and system architecture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Demonstrated experience with quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
