Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity for critical 2026 applications
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows optimizing machine learning pipelines
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and simulation breakthroughs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography transitions
- Document quantum system architectures and publish in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Familiarity with NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant design principles
