Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum computing architectures for complex computational problems
- Collaborate with research scientists to integrate quantum algorithms into practical applications
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Stay abreast of emerging quantum hardware advancements and software frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quantum computing community standards

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or related field
- Strong background in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum hardware
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages like Qiskit or Q#
- Experience with quantum simulation tools and quantum circuit design
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
