Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid algorithms
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create quantum-resistant encryption frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption roadmaps and ROI projections
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development toolkits
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Ability to secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships
