Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum system integration
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Drive quantum computing roadmap alignment with 2026 technological milestones
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure patents in quantum information theory
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Track record of developing production-level quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex R&D projects
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X) or equivalent patents
