Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures with fault-tolerant qubit systems and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and prototype next-generation quantum hardware including photonic and topological qubits
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and system designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubit systems
- Proven experience architecting complex distributed computing systems
