Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computations
- Drive innovation in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing with demonstrated work on NISQ or fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Quantum AI)
- Published research in quantum computing or relevant conference proceedings
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
