Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Lead cross-functional teams in building quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Research and integrate emerging quantum algorithms with real-world industrial applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and funding bodies
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
- Strong background in superconducting circuits or trapped-ion technologies
