Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for multi-qubit quantum processors
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for practical industry applications
- Collaborate with quantum software teams to implement hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware technologies (e.g., photonic, trapped ions)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced theoretical and practical concepts
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Nature Quantum)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration and control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
