Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms optimized for error-corrected qubit systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Develop secure quantum communication protocols for enterprise clients
- Mentor a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum technology conferences
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum aerospace computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting and photonic qubit architectures
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts to business stakeholders
