Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for commercial-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve quantum advantage by 2026
- Collaborate with quantum algorithm teams to optimize hardware-software integration
- Lead prototyping of quantum processors using superconducting and photonic systems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced superconducting system design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Published research in quantum information science
