Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Create quantum error correction protocols to achieve 99.9% qubit fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through innovative quantum proposals
- Establish industry partnerships for quantum computing deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and security protocols
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants
