Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits for error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical R&D
- Optimize qubit coherence times using cryogenic engineering techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams on photonic and superconducting processor architectures
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Publication record in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Familiarity with quantum annealing (D-Wave) and gate-based systems
- Security clearance preferred for government partnership projects
