Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms leveraging 50+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum software optimization for real-world industrial use cases
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error correction protocols
- Translate complex quantum problems into scalable engineering solutions
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum systems architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of deploying quantum solutions in production environments
