Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuits with fault-tolerance thresholds below 10⁻⁹ error rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for optimization problems
- Lead quantum algorithm implementation on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Architect quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise security
- Optimize quantum compiler backends for hardware-specific constraints
- Establish quantum computing KPIs and performance benchmarking protocols
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum fundamentals and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration and control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and BQP class problems
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel algorithms
