Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Create quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Partner with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on quantum adoption strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in at least one quantum computing platform (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ, etc.)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
