Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimizing machine learning and cryptography
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through innovative proposals
- Partner with NASA and DOD on quantum space exploration projects
- File 3+ quantum patents annually

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum error correction protocols
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Active membership in IEEE Quantum Computing Standards Association
