Responsibilities
- Architect quantum error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant systems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Validate quantum supremacy benchmarks in cloud environments
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate designs
- Partner with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or equivalent practical experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and cryogenics
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- 5+ years leading quantum hardware development
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
