Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and AI domains
- File patents for novel quantum algorithms and hardware designs
- Collaborate with national labs on quantum internet infrastructure
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Proficiency in machine learning for quantum error correction
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
