Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Collaborate with research institutions on quantum supremacy challenges
- Document quantum system specifications and integration requirements
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Ensure compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic system integration and control electronics
- Strong background in distributed computing and parallel processing
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment
