Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging qubit entanglement and superposition principles
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum algorithms targeting optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs and cryogenic systems
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish peer-reviewed papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and computational complexity theory
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional quantum research teams
