Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum algorithm development
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and research institutions
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies for enterprise clients
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Maintain competitive intelligence through participation in global quantum standards bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE) on quantum systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for quantum initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum research into commercial IP portfolios
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or photonic quantum systems
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
