Responsibilities
- Design and architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning models and cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit implementations
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical cloud infrastructure
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and topological qubit stabilization
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven experience deploying quantum solutions in cloud environments (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
