We're seeking a visionary Quantum Computing Architect to design next-generation quantum processors and hybrid classical-quantum frameworks. Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures for 2026-scale computational demands
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and gate fidelity improvements
- Create quantum network security frameworks for distributed quantum computing
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary research teams
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
