Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation communication systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published papers in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
