Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for enterprise applications
- Establish patent portfolios for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Track record of translating quantum theory into commercial applications
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfaces
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
